Upstairs In The Downstairs House

Upstairs in The Downstairs House” is like taking an absorbing trip through time while also thinking deeply about life and faith. It mixes history and ideas about how our lives affect future generations in a really interesting way. It made me think a lot about things. The author’s storytelling drew me in from the very first page. The way faith, history, and human experience are woven together in the narrative makes this novel a remarkable and enlightening exploration.

The Temple of Hercules rests on a hill overlooking the city of Amman Jordan and was built by the Romans sometime between 162-166 AD. There was a 39’ tall statue of Hercules when it was built but was probably destroyed by an earthquake. All that remains of the statue is three fingers and an elbow seen in the picture.

The author’s masterful storytelling skillfully captures the essence of the human experience.

This book is really touching and shows how complicated relationships between people can be. It also shows how strong faith can be over a long time. The writer is really good at making you feel like you’re living in a different time period.
